Zeitschalter oder Fernbedienung für Truma in Carabus

Hello, my german Friends, Nicholas from England here.

It is clear to all that the Germans are the Gods of the camping world, So I have found this forum to ask you a question (in English sorry, but you are all clever people)..

I have a 2017 Weinsberg CaraBus 601 MQ with air suspension and I love it. Brilliant german Build quality.

But it has a basic heating controller in the kitchen area. No digital display. No timer, just 2 wheels that set the temperature of heating and water.

Imagine being in bed at 7 am after you have had the heating off all night. The controller is in the kitchen and you are under the warm cover but the bus is freezing.

You can't reach the controller from the back... you and your wife fight over who has to get out of bed to turn on the heating.

and of course, my German wife always wins :(

My question:

Can i buy a digital (maybe Bluetooth) display that i can swap out so we can set a timer? If so what one?

"need help" is not helpful but annoying.

Perhaps you can swap the switch against the modern Truma interface? This can then be upgraded with a sim card to be accessed by mobile phone. The guys at Truma can probably help you, or a good motorcaravan workshop.

if you have the Truma Combi 4 like the actual models you can install Truma iNet Set and control it via APP .

Generally links are allowed, just not all. And the forum rules state, that you have to post a "real" topic. "Need help" has no info at all. Formulate the problem so that someone looking through the topics will know what to expect. E.g. "Timer or remote control for Truma needed".
